Undergraduate and postgraduate students and research scholars in recognized universities or institutions in
India and abroad can apply for the India Space Lab Summer Internship. Participants will work closely with
various verticals, divisions, and cells of Space and receive training in Drone Technology (Air Taxi), CanSat
and CubeSat (Student Satellite), Rocketry, Remote Sensing (GIS), Space Entrepreneurship, Astronomy and in
addition space webinar. Applicants must apply online by completing the registration form.
Designation of Intern: Space Tech Intern
Registration: Registration for the summer internship and training program
will open on April 1st at 3 pm. The online application link is open from 1st April - May 27th till 05:00
pm.
The India Space Lab ( भारत अंतरिक्ष प्रयोगशाला) Summer internship has a
total of 1245 available seats. Selection shall be conducted on a merit basis, determined by the
candidate's marks in the Examination.
The training will start on June 15th and continue until July 31st, with
the possibility of an extension to August 5th.
Summer- Internship Technical Training Module: DAYS (June 15th - July 30th)
I) 3 Days of Advanced Drone Technology (Air Taxi): June 15th to June 17th
II) 3 Days of CanSat and CubeSat (Student Satellite): June 20th to June 22nd
III) 3 Days of Rocketry Training Program: June 25th to June 27th
IV) 3 Days of Remote Sensing ( GIS) Sessions: June 30th to July 1st
V) 3 Days of Space Astronomy Sessions: July 5th to July 7th
V) 3 Days of Space Entrepreneurship Sessions: July 5th to July 7th
VI) Project focused on Technology and Official Works: July 8th to July 17th
VII) 2 days of Disaster Management sessions : July 20th to July 21st
VIII) Space Webinar: Space Education & Employment 27th July
The examination fees are structured as follows:
The examination fee is ₹450.
Exam Date:
The exam will be held on May 30th at 2 PM, with a second shift on June 1st. Both the exam and training
will be conducted online.
Shift 1 :
Exam Date: 30th May at 2pm to 3:30 pm
Shift 2 :
Exam Date: 1st June at 2pm to 3:30 PM
Duration: 90 Minutes
Important: The exam will consist of 12th-based mathematics and
logical
reasoning. There will be a total of 45 questions, each carrying two marks. A negative marking of 0.66
will be implemented for each incorrect answer. The total duration of the exam will be 90
minutes.

Important: The lateral entry will not impact the number of seats available for the summer
internship.
The internship training program will offer lateral entry for officials,
faculty, research scholars, and students interested in technology or various projects.
Registration for Lateral Entry : Does not involve an examination process
India Space Lab is pleased to announce an opportunity for officials, faculty, research scholars,
and students to engage in lateral entry into their preferred technology areas. This initiative
does not involve an examination process. Participants will receive a training certificate upon
completion rather than an internship certificate.
Lateral entry will not be permitted for the winter internship;
participants will be awarded a certificate upon completing the training program.
